Teaching Background:

While Eden is new to teaching private lessons, she has tutored students in music theory and led sectionals in orchestra as a cellist. She also has an extensive background with children through volunteering with elementary schoolers through her local church.

Personality/Teaching Style:

Eden knows how to easily relate to children and young adults by implementing teaching strategies to make her lessons fun and relaxed, yet informative and productive. She believes that it is very important to make lessons enjoyable, specifically for younger children, in order to preserve their intrinsic motivation to learn; however, she will cater to students’ needs, interests, and skill levels. Eden wants to keep students inspired and interested in music, while still pushing them to grow by providing fun incentives for progress.

What others are saying about Eden:

Eden was my piano student for almost 10 years. I know her and her family very well. She is bright, serious, reliable and very mature for her age. In her last 4 years, she made an extraordinary musical progress: with dedication and perseverance, she won competitions, participated in several music Festivals and performed with orchestra. She is a gem! I am sure she will be an inspiring and dedicated teacher. I would recommend her for a friend without any hesitation.

Eden is very intellegent, a hard worker, and a very fast learner. I haven’t had a chance to see her teach, but knowing her, I would guess that she is thorough, very gentle and patient, and perceptive. I am very impressed with this young woman. She is mature beyond her years. I would most definitely recommend her to a friend.

In high school, Eden was the pianist for the top jazz group, pit orchestra, choir, concert band, several orchestras, and an annual variety show in which she performed with pop, rock, jazz, and musical groups. She also volunteered to play for a local worship group for several years, and now serves as a Worship Leader in a religious organization at the University of North Texas. Growing up, Eden also played cello in various orchestras, such as the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra and the Edmond Memorial Symphonic Orchestra.
