PERSONALITY/TEACHING STYLE

By paying attention to their skill and interest level, Damien values making sure the student gets traction with what they’re learning. Never one to waste time, he addresses problems as they occur and really tries to attack the fundamentals of music. His philosophy is that tone is everything. If the tone is solid, then people will definitely want to hear you. He also wants every student to work on music they love to play. Some of the lesson will focus on any popular music or classical music that is on the student’s wish list. Of course the balance is to also work on fundamentals and to relate the wish list to the fundamentals so that maximum learning begins.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT DAMIEN

Damien is a virtuoso and also a friendly fellow whom I would recommend without question.
